Are business cards still relevant? That is the question that we’re about to unbundle.
What do you think? Let’s ask a couple questions:
- How do you quickly transfer contact information without hindering the conversation?
- How do you provide a memorable piece of branded content that keeps you front of mind?
- Can you represent the qualities of your business within a moment?
If you can’t think of a speedy way that this can be done, then one of two things are happening – you don’t have a business card or it’s not a business card you are proud of.
As many of us are visual and often not great with names, it is virtually impossible to remember that one in 1,000 person you just added to your LinkedIn even though we’d love to think we could. An outstanding business card is not only memorable, it is hard to forget.
A sophisticated design will highlight the qualities of your business and leave a statement. It is an affordable promotional piece or leave behind to keep you, your business or services front of mind.
Now think about it, how long does it take to ask someone to grab their phone, type your name in a search bar, locate you and then click add or type out your name (spell it correctly) and number, then hit save. . . or I’ll just give you my card.
Explore the world of business cards, it is constantly evolving to make it more affordable to get specialty finishes. Embossing, digital foils, raised UV and velvet touch are just a few of the latest innovations.
We’d love to hear your opinion on this, do you think there is anything out there that can match the memorability and efficiency of a business card for sometimes less then 25c.
