In this episode, we are back with the Dynamic Duo of Marketing, Bernard Kasab and Grant Hill!

If we knew that Grant Thom was in town, we would have done the episode together, but we only found out that he was in Sydney during the morning of the recording.

Our episode today will mainly focus on the current Marketing Trends based on the in-person event that Grant is currently attending. The event is hosted by Elite Marketers.

Who are the Elite Marketers? What do they do, and how can they help bring value to your business? Here are a few points about them:

  • Aims to unbundle Marketing obstacles
  • Founded by Scott Bywater
  • How they encourage people to never let opportunities pass

If you are an expert in any field, you can make content in multiple forms and put that on multiple platforms to generate traffic. YouTube is considerably the second-biggest search engine on the internet, which is a good place to put out your content.

People are looking for content that is valuable and relatable. The technique to attract traffic to your content is to “edutain” them. Edutaining is “educating” while also “entertaining”. Don’t get us wrong, you don’t need to be super wacky or go all out in production. This means your content has to be valuable and full of information to leave your viewers with a piece of knowledge after watching or reading your content.

By creating content that's accurate, informative, and innovative, you're adding value to your audience. This, in turn, helps to establish you as a thought leader in your field, which can lead to increased visibility, reputation, and business opportunities.

When you have a deep understanding of a subject, you're better positioned to identify areas for innovation and growth. Your insights can help you to create content that's ahead of the curve and which provides your audience with valuable information they may not find elsewhere.

As an expert, you're more likely to produce accurate content. Your understanding of the subject matter means you're less likely to make mistakes, and you're better equipped to correct any errors that do slip through.

Continue to watch this episode and find out more about what being an expert in your field can do for you!
